What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, reviews, and support planning for adults with eligible care and support needs as outlined in the Care Act 2014.
• Conduct safeguarding enquiries following Section 42 of the Care Act and adhere to local safeguarding protocols.
• Perform Mental Capacity Act assessments, facilitate Best Interest decision-making, and manage applications to the Court of Protection as necessary.
• Manage a variety of cases, involving complex physical and learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults, ensuring robust support for each individual.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Social Work, BA (Hons) Social Work, DipSW, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Demonstrate evidence of continued professional development pertinent to adult social care.

Registration & Compliance

• Maintain current registration with Social Work England (SWE).

Experience

• Have experience working within a UK Adult Social Care setting.
• Exhibit a proven ability to manage complex cases and competing priorities effectively.
