What you will do:

  • Conduct assessments and analysis on children and young people's needs.
  • Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with families and other agencies.
  • Participate in child protection investigations and in key decision-making processes to ensure the safety of children.
  • Engage and work collaboratively with other professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
  • Facilitate and attend multi-agency meetings and reviews.
  • Support children through transitions and advocate for their best interests.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker status with a minimum of three years' statutory experience in a permanent role within a local authority.
  • Must not have held a permanent or fixed-term position with a local authority within the last 12 weeks.
  • Expertise in Children in Need and Child Protection work.
  • Ability to commence position immediately, following a successful interview process.
