Job Description

Job Title: Rehabilitation Assistant

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Salary: £11.61 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, 48 hours per week
Shift Times: 8am - 8pm, paid breaks



Join our compassionate team in Farnborough - a specialist residential home providing rehabilitation for individuals living with long-term neurological conditions and traumatic or acquired brain injuries.



About Us: We are dedicated to supporting our residents' recovery and helping them achieve greater independence and an improved quality of life.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility assistance, and engaging in rehabilitation exercises.
  • Support the delivery of personalised rehabilitation plans, working closely with therapists to help residents regain physical, cognitive, and social skills.
  • Encourage and engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being and independence.
  • Monitor and record residents' progress, reporting any changes to senior staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, assisting residents as they adjust to living with neurological conditions or brain injuries.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment within the home.


What We're Looking For:

  • A caring, patient, and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for rehabilitation and person-centred care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow care plans and work alongside a multidisciplinary team.
  • A basic understanding of neurological conditions or brain injuries is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a care or rehabilitation setting is beneficial, though not essential-full induction and ongoing training provided.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
