Location: Supported Living Home, Bideford
Salary: £13.64 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, including 1 weekend in every 3

About the Role:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling and independent lives. You'll act as a mentor to other staff, lead by example, and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with their individual needs, including personal care, daily activities, and social engagement.
• Leading shifts, ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed.
• Providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Promoting independence and choice while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Participating in weekend shifts on a rotational basis (1 in every 3 weekends).

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Flexibility to work weekends as part of the rota.
