What you will do:

* Undertake primary consultation services, including triage, assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care coordination with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.

* Provide secondary consultation to enhance treatment practices for complex mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

* Deliver acute assessment and intervention for individuals in psychiatric crisis or at risk of self-harm or suicide.

* Collaborate in developing individual treatment plans upon the routine intake of clients, ensuring comprehensive case management and coordination.

* Offer support, education, and information to family members, carers, and significant others as part of the recovery journey.

* Facilitate therapeutic and psycho-educational sessions to empower clients and their families.

* Engage in policy development, service evaluation, and planning to drive continuous improvement in Mental Health Services.

* Employ a multi-sectoral approach, collaborating with key stakeholders like GPs and community services to enhance service delivery.

* Integrate systems and protocols across health, education, and welfare sectors for effective prevention and early intervention.

* Engage in data collection and continuous improvement activities to maintain service effectiveness.

* Participate in mental health planning and contribute to the strategic vision of our services.

Mandatory requirements:

* To ensure the highest standard of care and safety, you will need to present a current and satisfactory National Police Record Check, as well as a Working with Children Check.

* Additionally, proof of immunisation is required prior to commencing employment.

* You must also maintain registration with a relevant professional association, and hold a valid Victorian driver's licence.
