Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Service Manager

Job Summary:

The Clinical Service Manager is responsible for the overall clinical management of healthcare services provided to patients. This role involves leading clinical teams, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing budgets and resources. The Clinical Service Manager works closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the service operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Operations Management:

Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring that services meet the highest standards of care.

Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.

Ensure that patient care is consistently safe, effective, and patient-centered.

Leadership and Staff Management:

Lead, manage, and support clinical staff, including nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals.

Conduct regular performance reviews, offer training, and ensure professional development opportunities for staff.

Recruit and retain qualified clinical staff to ensure adequate coverage and skill sets.

Patient Care and Clinical Standards:

Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care and the implementation of care plans for patients.

Monitor patient outcomes and use data to improve service delivery.

Address and resolve clinical issues, ensuring patient concerns are handled promptly and effectively.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure the service adheres to healthcare regulations, guidelines, and accreditation standards.

Lead audits, inspections, and reviews to maintain clinical quality and safety standards.

Prepare and manage responses to inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed.
