We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join our specialised therapeutic home with a trauma-informed care approach. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of a new children's home, ensuring high-quality personalised care plans and risk assessments are implemented, and upholding the well-being of the young residents.

Responsibilities:

* Support the development of a new children's home based in Sussex, working with an Ofsted Consultant

* Develop and implement high-quality personalised care plans and risk assessments

* Uphold and promote the well-being of the young residents while fostering a therapeutic environment

* Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Local Authority requirements

* Manage recruitment, retention, budget management, and rota planning

* Demonstrate a working knowledge of Ofsted Inspection guidelines

* Timely notification of any significant events or changes within the home

* Manage Performance and Development through regular staff supervision and an annual appraisal process

* Contribute actively to strategic planning and development within the organization

Qualifications:

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent

* Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent

* Minimum of 5 years experience working within Children's residential care with 2 in a supervisory capacity

* Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections

Day-to-day:

The day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of care plans, liaising with staff and experts in the clinical fields, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and actively contributing to the strategic development of the organization.
