Job Description

Position Details:

• Position: Healthcare Assistant

• Location: Northallerton

• Hours per Week: 36 OR 48

• Hourly Rate: £12.80

• No NVQ Level 2 or 3 Required , (Although preferable)

Position: Healthcare Assistant

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients residents. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, administering medication, supporting daily activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients residents and contribute to their health and happiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

• Administering medication in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

• Supporting residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility.

• Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.

• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.

• Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

• No requirement of NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, but it would be ideal.

• Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred.

• Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

• Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
