Job Description

Deputy Manager - Children's Home

Role: Deputy Manager

Hours: Full-time

Location: Burnley

Salary: £39,000 per annum including sleeps (DOE)

I'm currently working with an established children's residential provider to recruit a Deputy Manager to join their team in Burnely. This role does include shifts and sleeps so you must be flexible to work this pattern.

Benefits:

· Quality bespoke training packing and generous remuneration for sleep-in shifts

· 28 days annual leave entitlement, rising to 33 days with 5 years service

· Time and a third for overtime

· Supportive working environment

You must have:

· Must have a full manual driving license

· Must be fully flexible and have the ability to work unsociable shift patterns

· Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

· The desire to develop into a Registered Children's Home Management

The main duties of a Deputy Manager:

· To lead the team to deliver high quality care to the young people

· To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with company policies and procedures

· To communicate effectively young people's care plans and other associated documentation

· To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package

· To attend/chair staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model
