What you will do:
- Manage a Children & Families caseload, ensuring effective assessment, planning, and implementation to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Collaborate with multiple agencies such as health, education, and the police to provide coordinated support based on assessed needs.
- Conduct direct work with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and considered.
- Prepare comprehensive assessments and reports for court submissions and represent the service in Family Courts as needed.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with partner agencies, including schools, health services, and voluntary organisations.
- Stay updated on social work theories and legislation to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Engage in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to enhance teamwork and personal professional development.
