ABOUT THE FEMALE NIGHT RECOVERY WORKER ROLE
We are a 24-hour, all-female service providing medium to low support for female residents with forensic mental health needs, currently accommodating up to 4 residents (3 in residence). As a Night Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents during the night, managing the service independently, ensuring their safety and well-being, and helping them develop independence, manage their mental health, and work towards reintegrating into the community. This includes hosting engaging activities such as film and game nights to promote social interaction and well-being while confidently lone working and managing a service independently.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, 24/7 on rota from 20:00 to 08:30. Face to face service, Includes weekends, bank holidays and holiday periods
Salary: £26,100
What are we looking for from a Female Night Recovery Worker?
- Conduct key working sessions and risk assessments to support residents' progress.
- Administer and support residents with medication, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Work closely with care coordinators and mental health teams to deliver tailored support.
- Manage incidents and crisis situations calmly and effectively.
- Write clear and detailed reports for day care coordinators to ensure seamless handover.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents, even while they are asleep.
- 25 days (Full time equivalent) annual leave, increasing with the length of service
- Training and Development, including access to courses, upskilling, and progression plans

- Reflective Practice regular sessions with a therapist provided by an external provider to support Mental Health and Wellbeing
