What You Will Do:

* Ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional development of children in foster care, residential care, or other care settings.

* Build trusting relationships with children to understand their needs and advocate on their behalf.

* Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to each child's needs and best interests.

* Collaborate with multi-agency teams, including health, education, and legal professionals, to provide holistic support.

* Conduct regular visits to children and their care placements to monitor their progress and identify any risks or concerns.

* Ensure compliance with legal frameworks, such as the Children Act 1989 and other child protection policies.

* Work with birth families, foster carers, and adoptive families to maintain connections where appropriate.

* Support placement stability by offering guidance, intervention, and mediation when necessary.

* Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and reports for legal proceedings, care reviews, and internal audits.

* Prepare and present assessments and evidence for court when required.
