What you will do:

* Conduct pre-birth assessments and manage child protection cases to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

* Handle complex child-in-need situations with sensitivity and expertise, advocating for the lowest level of formal intervention where appropriate.

* Provide support for PLO/Pre proceedings, demonstrating proficiency in preparing court statements and assessments.

* Mentor and coach less experienced team members, offering guidance and modeling professional behaviour.

* Support the team manager in driving quality and performance improvements within your team.

* Foster trusted relationships with families, respecting their differences and inclusivity, while encouraging high aspirations.

* Engage in reflective practices and ensure decision-making processes are transparent and objective.
