Qualified Social Worker - Adults Learning Disability Team

Location: Hoole, UK

Salary: £35.00 Hourly

What you will do:

* Assess Needs and Risks: Evaluate the need for social work services, identify risks, and determine appropriate interventions to enhance service provision for adults with learning disabilities.

* Collaborate with Agencies: Work closely with professional, statutory, and voluntary agencies to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.

* Manage Workload: Handle and monitor a personal caseload while aligning priorities with County policies and statutory requirements.

* Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records and perform necessary administrative tasks efficiently.

* Engage in Supervision: Participate in regular supervision, staff meetings, and training to ensure continuous professional development.

* Contribute to Service Development: Share insights and expertise to enhance service evaluation and development.

* Mentor Students: Support the growth of future social workers by mentoring students when required.

Job Purpose:

Working within the legislative framework and County policies, you will collaborate with individuals and families to resolve challenges and adapt social environments to improve overall quality of life. This role requires two office days per week and availability for local visits.

Person Specification:

* Essential Qualifications: CQSW/CSS/Diploma in SW or equivalent; HCPC Registration.

* Experience: Demonstrated experience working within a social care setting.

* Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of statutory frameworks, current service provision developments, non-Local Authority service delivery, and anti-discrimination policies.
