What you will do:
* Provide a high-quality and comprehensive social work service to adults, carers, and the community in accordance with statutory guidelines and the Authority's policies.
* Manage a diverse caseload that entails challenging and complex cases, including extensive assessments and risk management.
* Conduct Community Care and Best Interest Assessments to devise innovative and cost-efficient solutions.
* Lead safeguarding investigations within multi-agency procedures, maintaining the wellbeing of the service users.
* Utilise a person-centred approach to build and sustain constructive relationships with service users, their families, and carers to enable informed decision-making.
* Promote independence and proactive early intervention, playing a crucial role in conflict resolution.
* Contribute to the screening of new referrals, working in collaboration with court systems to secure and enforce court orders.
* Partake in the development of service practices and undertake special casework on behalf of other teams.
* Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and act as a representative of the Authority, upholding professional standards and supporting service plans.
* Play an active role as a Practice Educator Level 2, and if qualified, participate in the Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) rota.
