Key Responsibilities:

* Team Leadership & Supervision - Manage a team of six social workers , with potential oversight of students. Provide guidance, support, and performance evaluations.

* Assessment Oversight - Ensure timely and accurate assessments for children and families , informing appropriate interventions.

* Resource Allocation & Planning - Strategically allocate resources and manage staff workloads to meet the needs of duty and assessment services.

* Interagency Collaboration - Work closely with departments and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for service users.

* Compliance & Quality Assurance - Monitor statutory compliance , ensuring assessments and interventions meet best practice standards .

This is a fully office-based role, with duty once every five weeks , primarily located in Hulme . The position is initially for three months , with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.
