Job Title: Senior Practitioner - Encompass Therapeutic Hub within Children's Social Care
Location: London
Salary: £53,373 annually
We are seeking an insightful and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Encompass Therapeutic Hub within Children's Social Care, located in a vibrant and dynamic borough of London. What you will do:
* Assess and provide services to children and families in need, ensuring compliance with the appropriate legislation and policy frameworks
* Liaise with Council Departments, NHS trusts, schools, carers, and other providers to ensure the effective delivery of services
* Maintain high standards of professional practice and influence positive practices within your team
* Manage a diverse caseload, taking comprehensive assessments of need and coordinating necessary interventions
* Supervise and support other team members, sharing management responsibilities as required
* Undertake key responsibilities under the Borough's Child Protection guidelines, including the formulation of child protection plans
* Ensure health and education needs of looked after children are met in accordance with National Standards
* Act as a duty social worker, providing guidance to less experienced colleagues
* Make financial expenditure recommendations and manage delegated responsibilities effectively
* Promote equal opportunities and practice anti-discriminatory work across all interactions
