What you will do:

* Act as an independent Chair for meetings of children in care and those on Child Protection plans, ensuring their safety and well-being are prioritised.

* Vigilantly monitor and oversee the progress of care plans to ensure there is no drift or delay in safeguarding children and achieving permanence for those in care.

* Quality assure the care planning process for each child or young person, ensuring their current wishes and feelings are considered in all decisions.

* Work closely with families, social workers, and other professionals to facilitate effective implementation of Child Protection plans.

* Provide expert feedback and reports on care plans to help drive continuous improvement within the Child Protection Team.
