As a Designated Social Care Officer within the SEND department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of children within the borough. We are seeking a qualified Social Worker with considerable experience working with children with SEND and their families. Engage meaningfully with children and parents, work effectively with partners, and champion the ambitions of children with SEND.

What you will do:

* Serve as a reliable and ambitious influence for children with SEND and their families.

* Negotiate with and influence a wide range of partners, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the Local Authority.

* Maximise opportunities for co-production with parents, carers, and partners in education and health.

* Represent Bracknell Forest Council's Children's Services at key regional and national events.

* Provide expert professional advice on SEND reforms associated with social care within the borough.

* Learn from and implement nationally recognised best practice in SEND reforms.
