Join our team as a Social Worker - Advanced Practitioner within the Mental Health Team based in Walsall, UK, for an exciting locum opportunity. You will earn a competitive hourly wage of £38 , working full-time from 14/04/2025 to 11/07/2025 . What you will do:

* Supervise and line manage staff, ensuring adherence to professional standards and protocols.

* Oversee absence management and quality approve reports for accuracy and compliance.

* Mentor team members while ensuring legal compliance, enhancing the effectiveness and capability of the team.

* Chair meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) for holistic care management.

* Conduct care assessments under the Care Act, undertake s9 assessments, s27 reviews, and support s117 aftercare.

* Engage in alternative duties in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Mental Health Act 1983/07, the Equality Act 2010, and other relevant legislation.
