Job Description

Registered Manager - Large Residential Elderly Service

Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care? We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a large residential elderly service and drive excellence in person-centred care.



About the Role:

As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall operational management of our established residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for our elderly residents.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of a large and thriving service, supported by a strong leadership team and a committed staff group. You'll have the autonomy to shape the future of the service while receiving support from senior leadership and the wider organisation.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and standards

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team

  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in care delivery

  • Maintain and enhance a culture of dignity, respect, and inclusion



What We're Looking For:

  • Registered Manager experience in a residential or nursing home setting (ideally in a large service)

  • A valid Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)

  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • A caring, resilient, and proactive approach
