 Main duties:

<li>Ensure children's individual plans are reviewed in line with statutory responsibilities and relevant to that child's needs.</li>

<li>Participate in the development and management of integrated local services to children in need and their families through joint working and partnerships with significant agencies, organisations and groups in the area.</li>

<li>Monitor the level and quality of social work practice, including reporting to senior managers and elected members, so that high standards of service to the public are promoted and that Bury Standards are maintained.</li>

<li>Undertake quality assurance processes such as case file audits and provide feedback.</li>

<li>Facilitate the professional development of supervision lines, including the identification of training needs and developing an appropriate resource in response to these needs.</li>

<li>Providing information to assist in the planning, implementation or monitoring of services as required for departmental, Department of Health or other official purpose.</li>

Requirements of the Team Manager job:

Job type: Full-Time Shifts: 36 hours per week. 10pm - 7am, weekend work is included Pay rate: £12.60 per hour Southport Services covers residential support for people across three homes, located in York Road, Arbour Street &amp; Dinorwic Road. York Road is located in the village of Birkdale in Southport, Merseyside. It offers residential support for five males and females who have a learning disability or are on the autism spectrum. Our team are dedicated to providing the people we care for with the skills needed to live a healthier and happier life back in the community. We can also support those who have mental health needs, difficulties with communication, and mild to moderate behaviour that may challenge Dinorwic Road is located in the village of Birkdale in Southport, Merseyside. It offers residential support for three people with a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also have mental health needs. We are located on a quiet road, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We aim to provide a safe and homely environment, where everyone we care for can make their own choices about the care and support they receive. We want to help provide residents with the skills they need to live a healthier and happier life back in the community. Arbour Street is a semi-detached Victorian house, located on a quiet road, very close to Southport city centre. It offers residential support for three adults with a learning disability, who may also be on the autism spectrum. Our team are dedicated to helping people to develop the skills necessary for a future where they can live as independently as possible. It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people's lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. What you'll be doing You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you'll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work. As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living.
