The successful candidate will be a qualified Social Worker with a degree-level qualification in Social Work and registration with Social Work England. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of current Mental Health Legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, as well as a solid understanding of safeguarding legislation, particularly the Care Act 2014. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to recovery-focused, multidisciplinary practice, emphasizing hope, control, and opportunity for those you support. A critical understanding of social work theories and intervention models is also essential for effectively working with individuals and their families.
